As a professional translation services provider AD VERBUM holds international quality standards certifications, namely the ISO 9001, ISO 17100 and ISO 27001.
ISO 9001 certification
ISO 9001 outlines the criteria for a quality management system with customer-oriented approach and continuous improvement. By tailoring efforts to the specific needs of every single customer and following up on our performance, we ensure that the services provided are of a consistently high quality and enhance the experience for the customer.
ISO 17100 certification
ISO 17100 is specific to the translation and localization industry, as it defines the requirements for delivering a high quality human translation service. The standard covers the qualifications of our project managers and our linguists, the preparations for the project and its completion, as well as handling the data security and the feedback on our performance. All these processes meet the specifications set by both the industry and our customers.
By adhering to this standard, we control the translation process every step of the way from accepting the task to delivering the final quality product.
Until 1 May 2015, the requirements for quality translation services were specified in the standard EN 15038. It has been replaced by the new ISO 17100, which by and large is based on its predecessor, but expands on the translation process steps for increased transparency and quality assurance.
By updating its existing standard-compliant quality processes, AD VERBUM has been able to make the natural shift and become ISO 17100 certified.
